This group meets on the 1st Monday of the month at 7:00 at the Walled Lake Campus.
Currently the group is working on how to most effectively use St. Matthew's community web as a support and encouragement for small group leaders as well as provide information to anyone who might be interested in knowing more about our small group ministry.
Members of the group include: Tim Klinger, Linda Wheeler, Dawn Kirk, Paul Abdou, Becky Clausing, Philip Masters, and Mark Sutton. Lavern Kruse, Minister of Assimilation, is the staff liaison.
Here are some thoughts from our May meeting. Please add to this as you see fit.
One of our main ideas was to have:
1. Group descriptions along with type of group,
2. List when they meet,
3. List how often they meet and where they meet.
This would give new people to the site easy access to what we have available for small groups.
We also wanted a place for small group leaders to share ideas such as:
1. Favorite studies,
2. Memorable service projects, etc.
It would also be good to have a place for Q&A.
