Stuff. It controls our lives, doesn't it? (especially in Oakland County) It seems that we never have enough, even though we have more than just about anyone else in the history of the world. We work harder to make more money to get more stuff...then we have to work harder to maintain that stuff and so we can get new stuff.
This group is putting it's foot down. This group is tired of being so 'stuff-focused' that we forget about people. We can encourage each other to stop thinking about stuff and start loving people. We can inspire each other to stop planning for the next thing we're going to buy or upgrade and start engaging our fellow man instead.
So, whatta ya say? Who's tired of being so consumeristic?
